Ok I guess I got done a little sooner than I thought! I finished my quilt (I will post a photo of it tomorrow and I got the card made to go with the quilt, and bible study and well you get the idea.. it was busy..

BUSY Day--But I did not forget

say "hello" to my little friend

I love my new room. I love my "cutting/scrapping" counters (which are actually filing cabinets that hold a great amount of supplies) BUT as I was scrapping with Joni she asked, what if I wanna sit down.. I told her sit at my desk. Then I realized why not pick up some bar stools so I pick up one to see if I liked it and guess what.. I do! you can stand, sit or twirl.. it also makes a great place to set stuff down when you are standing up to scrap! LOL so meet my little friend.. Betty the Barstool... she is an avid holder of scrapbooking stuff ...included but not limited to ME!

Frosted Designs - Eyelet Challenge

OK I have decided to just post them (challenge layouts) already. I did this for the eyelet challenge at Frosted Designs. I really liked how this layout turned out! So it is lil miss Ally after she histed my sunglasses! (a few years ago--shes so little in this photo--sniff sniff)

I really enjoyed getting out my eyelets again. I thought it would be fun to add some flower brads and fun into some of the eyelets

I also tried that a new techinque I read about, sorry cant remember where.. but it is paper pleating. It was easy and looks cool. I did it on the black and white flower paper. I hope you enjoy it. I had fun doing this challenge!

Blling a ling!

Today my bling layout was posted on Practical Scrapper. So that is the Our great Day together *seen below* -- It was a day that just Brad and I hung out together at the zoo... (one of our favorite places) Then I usually send more then one option for the gals to chose from so I am also adding that layout which is titled: AZ snow. It is hard to see the stickles that is making a cool border around the white of the layout, so you just have to trust me! I suppose if you don't live in AZ you would never get this joke, but when it rains here, kids go out and play in the rain, adults walk outside to enjoy the refreshing water that falls from the sky not often enough. Anyway, when it started raining and it was cold rain my kids decided it was how it snowed in AZ -- the snow melts on the way down and wha-la AZ Snow.

OK so I have a lot of challenge sites I get from Joni and I love all the ideas on them.. but this is one I follow pretty regularly. I thought everyone might want to know that Frosted Designs is having a DT call.... I am considering entering it but I have not 100% committed. I often do the challenges but dont enter them in the weekly Mr Linky... IDK why but I just dont... SO ANYWAY go over and check it out here is the link to the site

Follow up to my wonderful kid

OK so here is the layout I did of Bradley's "library system" I told you all about how when he was little and we had a system for our books... well this is the layout I did of his room and I gotta tell you ... it still gives me warm fuzzies.. He is such a great kid. He has been doing so many things that show me he is maturing into a wonderful man. I am so happy that I am his mom. On Wednesday of last week, his dad and I attended a special luncheon that honored his character. There were 2 kids from his grade level that were honored by all the teachers in their level for their character. I am so happy he was chosen. I have taken some photos so that may be a soon uploaded layout here or on Practical Scrapper. So I just wanted to give him some kudos...

HERE is the best gift eva!

OK so here are a few of the veiws. The stuff is not yet put up on the wall and I am waiting for the countertops to go over the cabinets...but I am so happy in my room. Did I mention that I am thinking of going back to college and getting a degree in General Art Studies! Yup so pray for me while I make that decision... Have a blessed day!
